🌊 مُوسَى وَالبَحْرُ العَظِيم

كَانَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَلِكًا ظَالِمًا يَقُول: أَنَا رَبُّكُم!

Pharaoh was an unjust king who said: I am your lord!

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

أَرْسَلَ اللّٰهُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لِيَدْعُوَهُ إِلَى الحَقّ.

Allah sent Musa (peace be upon him) to call him to the truth.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

أَعْطَاهُ اللّٰهُ مُعْجِزَات: العَصَا تَصِيرُ حَيَّةً، وَيَدُهُ تُضِيء.

Allah gave him miracles: the staff became a snake, and his hand shone bright.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

لٰكِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ تَكَبَّرَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن.

But Pharaoh was arrogant and did not believe.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

خَرَجَ مُوسَى مَعَ المُؤْمِنِينَ فِي اللَّيْل.

Musa left with the believers at night.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

لَحِقَ بِهِمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجَيْشٍ كَبِير.

Pharaoh chased them with a great army.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

أَمَامَهُمُ البَحْرُ، وَخَلْفَهُمُ الجَيْش! قَالَ النَّاس: إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُون!

The sea was in front, the army behind! The people said: we are caught!

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

قَالَ مُوسَى بِثِقَة: كَلَّا! إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِين.

Musa said with confidence: No! My Lord is with me — He will guide me.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

أَمَرَ اللّٰهُ مُوسَى: اِضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ البَحْر! فَانْفَلَقَ البَحْرُ طَرِيقًا يَابِسًا.

Allah commanded: strike the sea with your staff! The sea split into a dry road.

اِضْغَطْ لِلتَّرْجَمَة 👆

عَبَرَ مُوسَى وَقَوْمُهُ، وَغَرِقَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُه.

Musa and his people crossed, and Pharaoh and his soldiers drowned.
